We have just completed the hike to Capanna Margherita in the Monte Rosa massive with Daniele and we could not have asked for a better guide. He is very knowledgeable, calm and takes safety very seriously in addition to have a lovely personality. This was our first hike at high altitude and on a glacier and we felt very well looked after. We had Daniele as our guide for a trip up to the Capanna Margherita on the summit of Punta Gnifetti on the Monte Rosa Massif. As a guide he was excellent providing a fun week of acclimitization and training so we were well prepared for the hike up to 4554m. The trip was very well organised but flexible when required! Daniele's years of experience and mountaineering skills were very evident and we felt well supported and challenged in the right proportions. We had a good laugh along the way with him too! I would not hesitate to recommend Daniele and Horizon Adventures to others and I look forward to rebooking for one of the many other adventure experiences they can help me with.
