Chamonix offers an incredible variety of off-piste routes suitable for every level, from newcomers discovering powder skiing for the first time to advanced freeriders looking for steep, technical lines. Our guides take care of every safety aspect — from avalanche assessment to route choice — while helping you refine your skiing technique and sharing valuable insights about snow safety, the local environment, and the rich history and traditions of the Mont Blanc region.
Each day is carefully planned based on your skiing ability, current weather conditions, snow quality, and the avalanche bulletin, ensuring that we always take you to the areas offering the best and safest skiing. This approach allows us to select the most suitable itineraries while maximizing your enjoyment and progression.
For the best experience, we recommend booking two or more consecutive days of guiding. This gives us the time to understand your needs, adapt the terrain to your skills, and allow you to explore the full potential of Chamonix’s extraordinary off-piste and backcountry routes. With more time together, we can progressively guide you through the most beautiful and rewarding lines of the Mont Blanc massif.

You should be able to ski on black runs, on all types of snow. On all our programs snowboarders and telemarkers are welcome.
Technical equipment (possible to rent): off-piste skis, avalanche transceiver, shovel, probe, ABS backpack, helmet. For glacier skiing you need also harness, sling and carabiner.
The leading Guide is a fully certified IFMGA Montain Guide.

It is for you and your guide to decide the exact makeup of your booking however, these itinerary days shown below are an example of how a booking for this activity could be structured. We will spend the day skiing using the lift system introducing you to some of the off-piste itineraries and getting to know you.
Depending on our progress on day 1, we will continue to explore the off-piste itineraries, looking for the best snow and giving you technical and safety hints as we ski.
